“What in the Dickens Happened

to Scrooge” on tap for December

A slightly different telling of the story of Ebenezer Scrooge is being offered in December by The Little Theatre of Danville.

What in the Dickens Happened to Scrooge, by playwright Jerry Cowling, finds Ebenezer surrounded by the people most affected by him, as they plan to get him a bit tipsy and play out scenes of Christmases past, present and future to show him the errors of his miserly ways. In the process, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim  and the others also learn a bit about themselves in light of the Christmas spirit.

The play, directed by Michael Carter, will be presented at Schoolfield Museum & Cultural Center, December 18-20.

Tickets will go on sale soon!
